Mission of the Rich Mountain Conservancy

It is the mission of the Rich Mountain Conservancy to preserve Rich Mountain as a responsibly managed forestland, noting:

  • The unique flora and fauna indigenous to the area.
  • The value to Transylvania County to preserve scenic vistas afforded by protected natural preserves.
