Mission of the Rich Mountain Conservancy

It is the mission of the Rich Mountain Conservancy to preserve Rich Mountain as a responsibly managed forestland, noting:

The significance of Rich Mountain as the headwaters of the Little River watershed.
The unique flora and fauna indigenous to the area.
The value to Transylvania County to preserve scenic vistas afforded by protected natural preserves.
